Libertees does not sell or rent Personal Information, and we do not use customer information to build unrelated marketing profiles or farm customer data.

5. Consent and Your Choices
Libertees obtains consent appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the individual.
In some situations, consent may be implied. For example, when you provide a delivery address while ordering merchandise, we may use it and provide it to a courier for delivery.
We will seek express consent when appropriate, including for optional uses involving sensitive information or uses that would not reasonably be expected.
You may withdraw consent by contacting our Privacy Officer, subject to reasonable notice and any legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from completing an order, delivering merchandise, maintaining an account or providing a requested service.
Consent for optional marketing is not required to purchase products or receive Libertees services.
6. Liberty Partner Storefronts
Libertees may operate merchandise storefronts displaying the name and branding of a Liberty Partner.
When you purchase through one of these storefronts:
-
Libertees may collect and use information to process, produce, fulfill, deliver and support the order;
-
The Liberty Partner may receive reports concerning store sales, products and commissions;
-
We limit Personal Information included in partner reports to what is reasonably necessary; and
-
A Liberty Partner’s separate privacy policy may apply to information it collects or controls independently.
Libertees does not allow Liberty Partners or representatives to use customer information received from us for unrelated marketing unless the customer has provided the required consent.
7. When We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose Personal Information to:
-
A Liberty Partner associated with the applicable storefront or order;

Service providers are authorized to handle Personal Information only for the applicable service or another lawful purpose. We require appropriate privacy and security protections based on the nature of the information and service.
We may also use or disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies an individual.
8. International and Interprovincial Processing
Libertees is based in British Columbia, but our website, ecommerce, payment, communications and other service providers may store or process information elsewhere in Canada or in another country, including the United States.
Information processed in another jurisdiction may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies or government authorities under that jurisdiction’s laws.
Libertees remains responsible for Personal Information under its control and uses appropriate contractual, administrative and technical measures when engaging service providers.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for:
-
Essential website and checkout functions;
-
Security and fraud prevention;
-
Remembering selections and preferences;
-
Website performance and analytics; and
-
Advertising or campaign measurement, if enabled.
Essential cookies are necessary for the website to operate and may not be disabled through our website.
Where required, we request permission before using non-essential analytics or marketing technologies. You may manage available choices through our cookie banner or browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Libertees does not knowingly use website tracking to target children with behavioural advertising.
10. Marketing Communications
Libertees may send promotional emails or other commercial electronic messages when we have consent or another basis permitted by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
Marketing messages from Libertees will identify the sender and contain an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribe requests will be processed within the period required by law.
Even after unsubscribing from marketing, you may continue to receive non-promotional messages necessary to complete an order, provide customer service, administer an account or meet legal obligations.
11. Children’s Information
Libertees’ website and purchasing services are intended for adults and authorized representatives of businesses, teams, clubs and organizations.
We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or purchase products without appropriate adult involvement. When an order involves a child—such as youth-team merchandise—the responsible organizer, parent or guardian must provide only the information reasonably necessary and must have authority to provide it.
A parent or guardian who believes a child’s information was submitted improperly may contact our Privacy Officer.
12. Security
Libertees uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information, including measures intended to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or disposal.
These measures may include access restrictions, account controls, reputable service providers, secure transaction processing, staff procedures, backups and secure destruction practices.
No website, transmission method or storage system is completely secure. If a privacy or security incident occurs, Libertees will investigate, take reasonable containment and corrective measures, and provide notifications or reports where required by applicable law.

Provide access to that information;

Explain how it has been used;

Identify organizations to which it has been disclosed;

Correct an error or omission; or
-
Address a question or complaint regarding our privacy practices.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use identity information only for verification and handling the request.
If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain the reason unless prohibited by law. Any permitted access fee will be minimal, and we will provide advance notice where required.
15. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to social media pages, Liberty Partner websites or other third-party services.
Libertees does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, vendors or legal obligations change.
The current version will be posted on our website with the updated effective date. If a change materially affects how we use or disclose Personal Information, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required.
